EL-2 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
TOOLS REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY
1/2" Socket wrench & 1/2" Crescent Wrench.
BEFORE ASSEMBLING THE WORKBENCH
Read through the assembly instructions to familiarize yourself with the order in which the parts are assembled.
We suggest that you clear & vacuum the area where the rack is to be assembled.
HARDWARE
All assembly hardware is provided. WALL MOUNT HARDWARE NOT PROVIDED.
STEP 1
Unit will be assembled while it is laying on it's back.
Lay out 3 braces on the floor, approximate spacing is shown
below. Run eight 5/16 x 3" bolts up through each brace.
Set each of the 4 uprights down onto the bolts. Place a washer
onto each bolt & hand tighten the lock nut.
Square the unit & fully tighten the 2 end uprighs to the braces (you
will be able to reach the heads on these bolts without lifting the rack).
Assemble the support braces. All brace
sections are identical. Turn 2 sections until the
4-hole patterns are together (See top diagram).
Attach the splice plate to the 2 brace sections using eight
5/16 x 3/4" bolts. Bolts will run through the splice plate into
the braces. Secure with a lock nut.
