Carefully route audio jack (See

) to location on dash or nearby
panel where it will be mounted (within 4, 6 or 10 ft.) Location will vary
based on vehicle and customer’s preference.

Optional:
Drill a ¼” hole in dash
or panel, push threaded end through
hole and secure with nut (See
Fig. 5
)

The panel should not be thicker than
1/8”
otherwise the
jack t
hreads won’t protrude enough to engage
with nut.
(If necessary, use a Dremel or sander to thin panel).
Mounting jack is not necessary but doing so makes for a
stock appearance and convenient way of
connecting/disconnecting audio plug.
