• The
battery pack
for this
tool has
been shipped
in a
low charge
condition. You
should charge
the battery
pack fully
before
use. •
To
ensure the
longest battery
life and
best battery
performance, always
charge the
battery when
the air
temperature
is between
18–24°C. Do
not charge
the battery
pack when
the temperature
is below
0°C, or
above 40°C.
This is
important.
Failure to
observe this
safety rule
could cause
serious damage
to the
battery pack.

To
remove the
battery pack
from the
tool firmly
press the
battery release
tabs at
either side
of the
battery
pack, and
slide the
battery backward
out of
the tool.
To
install the
battery pack,
align rails,
on the
tool with
the tabs
on the
battery pack
and slide
the battery
pack on
to the
tool. Ensure
the battery
pack is
sitting straight
on the
foot and
correctly
entering the
runners. The
battery should
slide fully
on to
the tool
foot until
the battery
pack “clicks”
into position.

1.
Connect charger
to power
source. The
green light,
should light
up. This
indicates the
charger is
ready to
begin charging.
2. Position
battery pack
on charger
, align
rails, on
battery charger
with battery
pack. Slide
battery forward
onto charger
until it
clicks into
position. 3.
The red
light, should
begin to
glow continuously
, indicating
that the
battery pack
is receiving
a “Fast
Charge”. 4.
After approximately
one hour
, the
“Fast Charge”
indicator red
light should
go out
indicating
that the
battery pack
is fully
charged and
that the
charger is
now in
a “Maintenance
Charge” mode,
this is
confirmed by
the green
light coming
back on.
The battery
pack can
be left
on Maintenance
Charge” until
you are
ready to
use it.

remove the
battery pack
from the
charger depress
the battery
pack release
buttons and
slide the
battery of
f.

Do not
leave batteries
charging for
longer than
24 hours.
Note
. Depending
on room
temperature, line
voltage, and
existing
charge level,
initial battery
charging may
take longer
than one
hour.
Note
. Disconnect
charger from
power source
when not
in use.
To
obtain the
best life
for the
battery never
allow the
tool to
come to
a complete
stand still
before recharging.
The
battery should
be placed
on charge
whenever the
battery is
noticeably running
down or
the tool
no longer
performs a
task it
previously performed.
Avoid
conducting short
charges. Make
sure that
the battery
is fully
charged every
time by
allowing the
charger to
complete its
full charging
cycle. Avoid
allowing lose
items like
screws or
nails etc.
to be
stored with
battery packs
as these
or similar
items can
short battery
packs and
cause a
fire or
explosion. Always
unplug the
charger when
not in
use
and store
in a
dry secure
place. Avoid
charging or
storing your
battery in
temperatures below
0ºC and
above 40ºC.
• Do
not
incinerate the
battery pack
even if
it is
seriously damaged
or can
no longer
hold a
charge. The
battery pack
can explode
in a
fire. •
Never attempt
to open
the battery
pack for
any reason.
If the
plastic housing
of the
battery pack
breaks open
or
cracks, immediately
discontinue
its use
and do
not recharge
it. • The
battery pack
utilizes nickel-cadmium
cells. Cadmium
is
considered to
be a
toxic material.
Use an
environmentally safe
disposal unit
at a
municipal waste
disposal centre
to dispose
of a damaged or worn out battery.

Om de
accuset van
de boor
te halen,
drukt u
de kleppen
voor het
losmaken van
de accu,
die zich
aan beide
kanten van
de
accu bevinden,
stevig in
en schuift
u de
accu achterwaarts
uit het
gereedschap. Om
de accuset
te monteren,
brengt u
de
geleiders op
het gereedschap
op één
lijn met
de kleppen
op de
accuset en
schuift u
de accuset
op de
boor. Zorg
ervoor dat
de accuset
recht op
de voet
zit en
correct langs
de geleiders
loopt. De
accu moet
volledig over
de boorvoet
schuiven tot
de
accuset op
zijn plaats
“klikt”. De
accu opladen
1. Verbind
de oplader
met de
stroom. Het
groene lichtje
moet nu
gaan branden.
Dit geeft
aan dat
de oplader
klaar is
om te
beginnen met
opladen. 2.
Plaats de
accuset op
de oplader
, breng
de geleiders
op de
accu-oplader op
één lijn
met op
de accuset.
Schuif de
accu naar
voren op
de lader
tot hij
op zijn
plaats klikt.
3. Het
rode lichtje
moet nu
continu beginnen
te branden,
wat aangeeft
dat de
accuset wordt
opgeladen met
“snel opladen”.
4. Na
ongeveer één
uur moet
het rode
lichtje voor
“snel opladen”
uitgaan, wat
aangeeft dat
de accu
volledig opgeladen
is en
dat
de oplader
zich nu
in de
“opladen voor
onderhoud”-stand bevindt.
Dit wordt
bevestigd doordat
het groene
lichtje weer
gaat
branden. De
accuset kan
op “opladen
voor onderhoud”
blijven tot
u hem
gaat gebruiken.
5. Om
de accuset
van de
oplader
te halen,
drukt u
de kleppen
voor losmaken
accu in
en schuift
u de
accu eraf.

een accu
niet langer
dan 24
uur opladen.
Opmerking. Afhankelijk
van kamertemperatuur
, lijnvoltage
en het
oplaadniveau kan
het langer
duren
om de
accu voor
de eerste
maal op
te laden.

de oplader
van de
stroom als
hij niet
gebruikt wordt.
Een zo
lang mogelijke
levensduur voor
de accu
Laat de
boor nooit
volledig tot
stilstand komen
alvorens hem
opnieuw op
te laden.
De accu
moet worden
opgeladen als
de accu
merkbaar leeg
raakt of
de boor
minder goed
gaat werken.
Laat de
accu niet
te kort
opladen. Zorg
ervoor dat
de accu
elke keer
volledig wordt
opgeladen door
de oplader
de volledige
oplaadcyclus te
laten doorlopen.
Berg geen
losse voorwerpen
als schroeven
of spijkers
bij dit
soort accusets
op. Dergelijke
voorwerpen
kunnen kortsluiting
in de
accu en
brand of
een explosie
veroorzaken. Haal
altijd de
stekker van
de oplader
uit het
stopcontact
wanneer deze
niet wordt
gebruikt en
berg de
oplader op
een droge
en veilige
plaats op.
Berg uw
accu niet
op bij
temperaturen
onder 0ºC en boven 40ºC. Ook mag u hem bij deze temperaturen niet opladen.
