12.10 Cleaning the strainer in the cold water inlet
1.
Close the main cold water supply line.
2.
Drain the product on the domestic hot water side.
3.
Remove the connector from the connection for the pro-
duct's cold water pipe.
4.
Clean the strainer in the cold water inlet without remov-
ing it.
12.11 Cleaning the heating filter

Remove the heating filter

and clean it.
6.
Reinstall the components in the reverse order.
12.12 Installing the gas-air mixture unit
1.
Install the burner.
2.
Install two new burner seals in the burner hood.
3.
Install the gas-air mixture unit.
4.
Tighten the screws on the gas-air mixture unit.

Ideally to 7 Nm if a torque spanner is available.
5.
Install the flue pipe.
6.
Install the air intake pipe.

Close the service valves of the product.

12.14 Checking the pre-charge pressure of the
expansion vessel
1.
Measure the pre-charge pressure of the expansion ves-
sel at the vessel valve.
Condition
: Pre-charge pressure < 0.075 MPa (0.75 bar)

Top up the expansion vessel in accordance with the
static height of the heating installation, ideally with ni-
trogen, otherwise with air. Ensure that the drain valve is
open when topping up.

If water escapes from the valve of the expansion
vessel, you must replace the expansion vessel

Fill and purge the heating installation. (
12.15 Completing inspection and maintenance
work
1.
Start a test operation after the maintenance.
2.
Check the heating mode and, if required, the domestic
hot water generation (if available).
3.
Check the gas type. (
4.
Check the gas connection pressure (gas flow pressure).

Check the CO
₂
content. (
6.
Install the front casing.
7.
Fill out the relevant Service Record section in the
Benchmark Checklist.
