TRANSDUCER CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Use and cleaning of the transducer
When used on wound it is necessary to carry out the sterilisation procedure foreseen
for the transducers.
Avoid to use too much aggressive solvents, alcohols or detergents, they could dama-
ge the covering, moreover avoid to introduce liquids in the apparatus
Handle with care the treatment head. A not careful manipulation can influence its
characteristics.
Don’t knot or wind the connection cable.
Don’t use the device near spray, liquids or solvents
To clean the device unconnect the diffuser and remove the cream or gel using a soft
lightly humid duster.
Application methods
When undergoing magnetotherapy, the patient has no direct perception of the field
application. The action is strictly connected to the reactive capacity of tissue com-
ponents to the magnetic induction phenomenon.
In addition, the duration of the field exposure takes on an extremely important role,
and it will need to be evaluated in relation to the subjects' age and the speed of their
biological rhythms. The gradual action and effectiveness of the treatment may well
manifest itself over a long period of time. The treatment is particularly suitable in case
of chronic pathologies but a reduction in recovery times may also be obtained in
case of acute traumas. Other forms of physical therapies with a faster response (IR
laser, TENS) may be associated with the symptomatic treatment of pain in the acute
phase.
Transducer check
At the end of each application, clean and/or disinfect the transducer. It is necessary
to control that the transducer don't have fissures that can make it inefficient. In
case of problems, return the transducer for servicing and replace it.
