The efficiency of this product has been scientifically tested in a lab against the following
bacteria; Staphylococcus Aureus (ATCC6538), Escherichia Coli (8099), Salmonella
Typhimurium (ATCC14028), and the Influenza Virus A H3N2. To increase the level of
neutralization, place the light over item/surface at the minimal recommended distance for
a longer period. Products will still be effective when distance is increased but will require a
longer exposure to the UV light to neutralize germs. When used as directed, the following
results will be obtained at the given distance and time:
A) Optimal Use
For maximum disinfection (over 99%), the light should be positioned at 6 inches away from
the surface for one 15 minute cycle for bacteria or positioned at 3 inches for one 15 minute
cycle for influenza.
B) Optional Use (recommended for bacteria
only)
When the light is postioned at 24 inches we
recommend to run three 15 minute cycles, the
percentage of antibacterial neutralization should
reach over 70%. For greater disinfection rates at
this distance, please run additional cycles
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
1. Remove the base of the device by pulling downwards.
To show access to the
charging port.
2. To check battery level, press on the “check button”.
Green lights will indicate the
level of charging remaining.
3. To charge the strip light, plug the included Micro-USB charging cable in to a USB-A
1A adapter.
4. Then insert USB charging cable in to charging port.
When the cable is properly
connected, charging starts automatically. The battery level indicator lights will blink
while charging, and all four lights will be green when charging is fully complete.
NOTE:
When light is not being used for disinfection purposes, please switch function
to On or Off mode to conserve
battery life.
NOTICE:
Be sure to use the
included USB charging cable as
other cables may cause damage
to the product. Depending on the
type of the device, charging from
the USB port of general electrical
products (such as a PC) can cause
the product to no longer function.
