Check the blade’s balance after sharpening.

For reasons of safety, do not use the equipment with 

worn or damaged parts. Parts are to be replaced and 

not repaired. Parts that are not of the same quality 

can damage the equipment and be dangerous for your 

safety.

Whenever the machine is to be handled, transported or 

tilted you must:

–  wear strong working gloves;
–  grasp the machine at the points that offer a safe grip, 

taking account of the weight and its distribution.

Damaged blades and worn bolts are major hazards. 

Unpacking 

Due to modern mass production techniques, it is unlikely 

that your GMC Power Tool is faulty or that a part is 

missing. If you find anything wrong, do not operate the 

tool until the parts have been replaced or the fault has 

been rectified. Failure to do so could result in serious 

personal injury.
