Press continuously during 5 seconds on the scanning button located on the left side of the scanner.
The following messages are successively displayed:
And so on one after the other:
English – Français – Español – Italiano – Portugues – Deutsch – Polski
The sign – means, the memory function is not activated.
The sign + means, the memory function is activated.
When language and operating mode chosen are displayed, release the scanning button. Global-Scan™ will “beep” indicating that it is
configured and ready to read.
Note:
1.
The configuration is recorded into the reader memory. Consequently, each time it is switched on, the language and operating mode (with
or without memory) will be saved.
2.
Be careful when switching on not to press for more than 2 seconds on the scanning button. This risks entering the configuration menu.
Changing the configuration
To change the configuration, switch off the scanner if necessary and switch on by keeping the scanning button pressed down until the desired
configuration is displayed.
Global-Scan™ switch-off
The Global-Scan™ is programmed to automatically switch off after 2 minutes if the scanning button has not been pressed. It is possible to
switch off the reader by pressing continuously the scanning button when an identification number or “no tag found” is displayed.
Using the “memory” function
A scanner configured beforehand in operating mode “+ memory” will record the scanned transponder numbers (800 identification numbers
maximum)
