Setting up alerts
To set up alerts
• Tap
Alerts
on the Setup menu to open the Alerts window.

Tap

beside
Mute
on the Alerts Window to insert or remove a checkmark

and turn the audible alerts in the module on and off.

Tap the down arrow
beside
Message Alert
to select a beep, tone, or musical
sound to play when a new message arrives.

Tap the down arrow
beside
Re-beep Every
to set the length of time between
the tones that announce a new message.

Tap the down arrow
beside
Re-beep
to set the number of times the tone
plays to announce a message. When your selections are complete, tap
OK
to
save them.
Note
Re-beep functions when the module is out of the handheld computer and
a newly arrived message is stored in the module. When you reinsert the
module, the message is immediately transmitted to the handheld
computer and re-beep stops.
