Power: The power button can be used to select 2 possible settings. Low - 1000W & High - 1800W
Timer (½ h to 7½ h): The timer function allows to set a length of operation from ½ hour to 7½ hours. Press the Timer
button to increase the length of operation by ½ hour each time. Once the timer has been set the timer will show count
down time and switch off after the set time elapses. Pressing the timer once more after the display shows 7½ hours will
set the heater to continuous running.
OSC: The heater oscillates continuously to a radius of 70 degrees on selection of this function.
REMOTE CONTROL
The heater comes with a remote for convenient operation. Install two 7# batteries (not included) before use. The
remote control works similarly to the manual control functions.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
An overheat protection switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheat, e.g. due to total or partial
obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool and remove the object
which is obstructing the grids. Then switch it ON as decribed above. The appliance should operate normally. Should
the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.
TIP-OVER SAFETY
To avoid accidents or mishaps due to the falling of the heater your Glen PTC heater comes with an incline protection
device. This switches OFF the heater automatically as soon as the heater bends beyond an angle. The heater starts
working again once it is put upright.
CLEANING
Always disconnect the heater from the mains supply before cleaning. Clean the outside of the heater with a damp
cloth. Clean the fan filters with the help of soft brush. DO NOT use waxes or polishes as these may react with the
heater and cause discoloration.

• Do not leave the heater “ON”unattended.
• Never cover the heater when working as this may lead to risk of fire.
• Keep the heater at a distance of at least 50cm from any combustible material, such as furniture, curtains, bedding
clothes or papers.
• Keep the heater clean. Do not allow objects to enter the ventilation, as this may cause electric shock, fire or
damage the heater.
• Close supervision is required when any appliance is used near or by children.
• Never allow the cord to touch wet or hot surfaces, become twisted or be within the reach of children.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
• Never use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance has malfunctioned or been damaged
in any way.
• Never attempt to open any part or dismantle the controls. Responsibility for failure cannot be accepted if these
instructions have been ignored.
• Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• This appliance is intended for household use only.
• The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
