The following  warnings are here  to prevent personal injury and damage to  the product. 
Please follow them explicitly. 

 

 

The  product  must  be  properly  installed  and  commissioned  in  accordance  with  the  manual 
before it is used. 

 

Regular  cleaning  and  maintenance  must  be  carried  out  according  to  our  guidelines.  Glazing 
Vision strongly recommends that any work is carried out by suitably qualified individuals (eg. 
Glazing Vision trained personnel or contractors or an experienced electro-mechanical service 
engineer). 

 

Use the product only for its intended purpose. 

 

Glazing  Vision  products  are  heavy,  cumbersome  and  sometimes  have  uneven  weight 
distribution  due  to  the  materials  used  and  their  design.  Each  individual  product  (or  product 
section)  weight(s)  will  be  clearly  individually  marked  and  communicated  to  clients  before 
despatch of goods. 

 

Clients  are  wholly  responsible  for  all  lifting  to  get  the  product  to  the  upstand  ready  for 
installation. Where the  client is going to be  using manual handling as a means  to move the 
product into position for installation by our engineers or by themselves, they need to refer to 
the  HSE  website  under  “guidance”  and  “manual  handling”  and/or  comply  with  Manual 
Handling Operations Regulations  1992 (as  amended  Manual  Handling Operations Regulations 
MHOR). 

Warning 

 

Risk of injury. A serious or fatal injury, or damage to property/materials may 
result if safety instructions are not correctly followed. 

Mandatory 

 

Risk of manual handling injuries. Suitable and adequate risk assessments should 
be conducted before any work is carried out. Glazing Vision strongly advises 
that you use mechanical lifting aids to assist with installation and maintenance. 
Safe manual handling techniques and principles of prevention conforming with 
Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (as amended Manual 
Handling Operations Regulations MHOR) must be used at all times. 

Prohibitory 

 

Do not lift the load over people. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the 
product unless suitably qualified. 

Fragile 

 

This product is delicate and should be handled with great care. Do not drop this 
product, as it may cause damage.
