Weatherproofing:
General Maintenance & Safety
To keep the kerb in good condition make sure the kerb is fully weatherproofed on outer faces.
COSHH and Safe Disposal
There are no hazardous materials used in the construction of the kerb. Wherever possible
when disposing of the kerb recycle as much as possible. Do not burn any plastic materials.
The following materials are used throughout the kerb:
Framework
Wood: Pine
Plywood
Steel Fixings
PIR Insulation
Adhesive Foil tape
Product Warranty
A warranty document will be provided with the kerb. If this is misplaced it can be found at
www.glazingvision.co.uk/resources/warranties/
Once fully set
up and fixed,
the kerb should
now be weather
proofed.
Weatherproofing
must not exceed
10mm
thickness. This
is to allow space
for fitting the
rooflight over
the kerb.
