2.4 SIM Card Installation
The rugged PC supports 3G telecommunication network function. You should
power off firstly, and then, refer to forgoing steps to unplug internal battery. In
the battery compartment is a SIM socket (optional) lying beside pin header.
Insert your 3G SIM card with its chip facing down into the socket until it clicks
in, reinstall internal battery and rear plate. To take off 3G SIM card, click it
softly to have it ejecting from the socket.
Apart from the hot-swappable battery, the tablet PC can also be powered by
the AC-to-DC power adapter. If the battery is running low, you can immediately
plug the DC connector into the power jack of the computer. By supplying the
DC power, the battery attached to the unit can also be charged. (Please refer
