Operating Instructions
The shower trolley is designed for transferring patients in hospitals, health centres,
spas, care and nursing homes to and from the bathing area as well as for showering
patients. The height of the trolley is hydraulically adjustable via a foot pedal. Mattress tilt
is 5 cm, which allows the water to drain from the shower liner through the flexible drain
hose.
The lifting mechanism is sturdy, the pivots are Teflon-lined. The surface of the steel
frame has been specially treated. Stable construction with four locking 125 mm
diameter casters. Trolley height: from 42 cm - 84 cm.
The shower trolley is equipped with two push handles with rotating corner buffers to
prevent damage to walls. The side rails drop down. Before a patient is put on the
shower trolley, one side rail has to be lowered. As soon as the patient is on the shower
trolley, the side rail has to be raised until it locks in the 'UP' position.
a) Height adjustment
To raise the shower trolley: Press down foot pedal several times, until the desired
position is reached.
To lower the shower trolley: Lift the foot pedal until the desired position is reached.
