Ordinary maintenance

The armchair has been designed and manufactured to not require special servicing during its life-
time. Thus there are no specific operations to be carried out at any time.
The technicians must inspect the article at least twice year; the inspection must include the search
for anything that could compromise the integrity and correct operation of the article.

ATTENTION!

 If there is any sign of damage, disable the article, until the necessary re-

pairs or replacements have been completed.

ATTENTION!

 It is recommended that any technical adjustments, as well as any repairs

of the item not specifically listed in this section is carried out by qualified technicians.

Cleaning

For a better and long life of the article it is essential to carry out periodically a careful general
cleaning. We recommend you to proceed as follows:

ATTENTION!

 DO NOT sprinkle directly detergents on to mechanical parts. UNDER NO

CIRCUMSTANCES USE solvents, spirit or benzine, detergent or strong abrasive agents to

eliminate “hard-to-clean” spots and stains.

If need be or every 15 days:

clean the metal parts with water and soap, rinse with a damp cloth and dry completely;

carefully clean the wheels with water and soap, rinse with a damp cloth and dry completely and
check their efficiency.

Storage

Long term storage must be performed according to the following conditions:

the article must be packed;

the storage area must be dry and not exposed to direct sunlight;

the article must not be stacked on top of each other.

Setting the item aside

In case the article must be set aside for a long period it is necessary to protect the parts which
could be damaged by the dust deposit.
Grease the parts that might oxidize or be damaged by excessive drying.

Disposal

If you decide to no longer use the article, it is necessary to declare it inoperable. We also recom-
mend that any dangerous part which could cause damage are made safe.
Evaluate the class of the object according to the degree of disposal.
Dispose together with iron material and send it to the appropriate waste disposal centres.
If you consider the article special waste, disassemble it and divide into similar size pieces, then
dispose of it according to the legislation in force.
