Note:
The first time you use this toaster, it may smoke a little due to
the factory residue burning off. We recommend running it
through one or two cycles before actually toasting bread.
TO TOAST
1. Connect the plug to an outlet.
2. Put the slice(s) of bread into the toaster slot(s).
3. Set the browning dial to desired level.
4. Start the appliance by sliding the carriage lever down until a “click” is
heard (the red light by CANCEL will come on during use).
5. When done, the toast will pop up and the toaster will turn off.
6. Unplug the toaster.
CANCEL BUTTON
Press the CANCEL button at any time to interrupt toasting.
REHEAT BUTTON
Press the REHEAT button after lowering the carriage lever (the red
light by REHEAT will come on) to reheat already toasted bread, bagels,
etc. (This function will not continue to toast, it will only reheat for 30-
50 seconds.)
DEFROST BUTTON
Press the DEFROST button after lowering the carriage lever (the red
light by DEFROST will come on) to defrost, then toast frozen bread or
waffles, etc. (all in one step).
BAGEL BUTTON
Press the BAGEL button after lowering the carriage lever (the red light
by BAGEL will come on) to toast one sided items such as bagels or
English muffins. The bagel half in the left slot will be toasted on the
left side, and the bagel half in the right slot will be toasted on the
right side.
Note:
Toast boost can be used to help you retrieve small or stuck
pieces of bread (lift up on the carriage lever when toast is done.)
