Note:
Before first use, we recommend that you run the griddle (with
no food) for 5 minutes and the toaster (with no bread) at
browning level 7 to eliminate any packing or factory residue.
Minor smoke or odor is normal.
MAKING TOAST
1. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.
2. Set the browning dial to the desired level (1 is the lightest, 7 is the
darkest).
3. Put bread into the slots and press down on the carriage lever. Bread will
toast and pop up when finished.
4. Press CANCEL at any time to stop toasting.
5. Unplug the cord from the electrical outlet when finished.
REHEATING COLD TOAST
Follow the instructions 1–3 above then press REHEAT.
TOASTING FROZEN BREAD
Follow the instructions 1–3 above then press DEFROST.
USING THE GRIDDLE
1. Plug the cord into an electrical outlet.
2. Remove the steamer and lid.
3. Preheat the griddle by setting the timer dial (0–15 minutes). The power
light will come on.
4. Add a little oil or butter per your recipe, and place the food on the griddle.
Cook the food and/or use the lid per your recipe.
5. When finished, set the timer to 0.
6. Remove the food and unplug the cord from the electrical outlet.
