Air Frying:
• Air frying is a great way to cook up prefrozen treats: French fries,
jalapeno poppers, cheesecurds, onion rings and more! Use
package directions and monitor closely.
• For best results, place food directly on either rack. If foods are too
small to fit on the racks, use the perforated pan.
•
Foods cooked on a pan will need to be turned to ensure the
bottom of the food also gets browned/crispy.
• If air frying on the top and bottom racks at the same time, rotate
the food from top to bottom halfway through to ensure even
cooking/browning.
• When done, promptly remove the food (or it may get soggy).
Roasting:
• Place food directly on the short rack, or use an oven-safe pan that
will fit easily inside the glass pot.
• You may want to rub a little oil on foods that tend to dry out.
• Rotate the food halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Tips
: • Fruit jams, preserves and jellies work well as glazes.
• Spice rubs are a great way to seal in flavor and juices (see
page 17).
Grilling:
• Place food directly on the short rack.
• You may want to rub a little oil on foods that tend to dry out.
• Rotate the food halfway through to ensure even cooking.
WARNING:
Never fill the glass bowl with oil. This appliance
is not to be used as a deep fryer!
