To access the battery tip the saddle forwards and unscrew the two screws "

A

". To

release the battery disconnect the leads. The battery is an electronic device that re-
quires regular inspection and servicing. The main points regarding servicing are listed
below.

CAUTION

IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, NEVER DISCON-
NECT THE WIRING WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. DO NOT TIP THE VEHICLE
TOO MUCH IN ORDER TO AVOID DANGEROUS LEAKAGE OF THE BATTERY
ELECTROLYTE.
