Connect to Your Computer
1.
Take out the USB plug and pull to extend the USB
cable. To retract the cable smoothly, hold the USB plug
and then press the
Retract Cable
button.
2.
Place the webcam on top of your monitor or on a flat
surface.
3.
Connect the webcam to your computer’s USB port.
Enhance Your Experience
Your webcam comes with free ArcSoft software to
help enhance your experience. Install all the included
applications or just those that suit you most. To install,
insert the CD, select an application, and follow the
onscreen instructions.
Use
MediaImpression
®
for image and video editing.
With
Webcam Companion™ 3
, you can take photos and
record videos to share with others. You can change the
background around your image or even place your face
in a silly template.
Webcam Companion 3
also lets you
monitor and capture movement near your computer and
can notify you by email or FTP.
ArcSoft Magic-i™
enables face tracking within
Webcam
Companion 3
so everyone in your picture stays in focus
even when they move. To activate face tracking, first close
all installed ArcSoft applications. Open
ArcSoft Magic-i
, and
then start
Webcam Companion 3
. Face tracking will now
be available each time you use
Webcam Companion 3
