Using the network mailbox
Some fixed line network providers and
VoIP providers offer answer machines on
the network – these are known as network
mailboxes.
Each network mailbox accepts incoming
calls made via the corresponding line
(fixed line network or corresponding VoIP
phone number). To record all calls, you
should therefore set up network mail-
boxes for both the fixed line network and
for each of your VoIP connections.
You need to have
requested
the network
mailbox for your fixed line network con-
nection from your fixed line network pro-
vider. You can store the phone number for
the fixed line network mailbox in the base
station.
You can activate/deactivate the network
mailboxes for your VoIP connections using
your handset or the Web configurator. To
do this, you only require the network mail-
box phone number.
Activating/deactivating the
network mailbox, entering
numbers
You can manage the network mailboxes
on your handset that are assigned to a
receive number on the handset.

as receive numbers is displayed. The dis-
play shows

The number that is currently stored for
the network mailbox is displayed.
Enter or change the phone number for
the network mailbox if necessary.
You have selected the fixed line network
connection:

Enter or change the phone number for
the network mailbox.
You cannot activate/deactivate the net-
work mailbox for the fixed line network
connection via the handset. For how to
activate/deactivate the network mailbox
for the fixed line network connection

vider's information.
