Using the answering machine
The Gigaset A345 has a built-in answering machine. Up to 14 minutes' worth
of calls can be recorded. Recorded calls are played back with the date and
time, if set (see page 10).
Operating the answering machine
The answering machine is operated with the keys on the base.
Meaning of the keys
Adjust volume during message playback:
= quieter;
= louder.
On/Off key:
Switches the answering
machine on and off.
Flashes for as long as there is at least one
new message.
Playback/Stop key:
Short
press: New messages only.
Long
press: All messages.
Pressing during playback cancels play-
back.
Paging key:
Used to search for handsets.
Back/Next key:
Short
press: Goes back to the beginning
of the message.
Long
press: Goes to the next message.
Delete key:
Deletes the current message
or personal announcements during play-
back.
Announcement key:
For recording and
playing back your personal announce-
ments.
