Calls list
The numbers of the last 10
missed
calls are stored.
Set the date and time (page 7) so that the time of
the call can be shown in the display.
When the phone is in idle status, new missed calls
are indicated by a
flashing
Ü
. You can call up the
calls list with the
Ü
key.
If the calls list is open, a new call is marked with the
symbol
Ü
.

The following functions are available:
If you select
SHOW NUMBER
the first 12 digits of
long numbers are displayed. To display the last
part: press

If there is already a directory entry for the phone
number, the caller's name is displayed. Call up the
directory menu with

to display the relevant
phone number.

Answering machine
The answering machine is operated from the base
station.
Set the date and time (page 7) so that the time of
the recording can be shown on the handset.
The answering machine is supplied set up ready to
use. You can make individual settings from the
handset (see Menu Tree, page 12).
Switching answering machine on/off
Your answering machine is activated and ready for
use as soon as your handset has been set up. When
the answering machine is switched on the handset
display shows the
×
icon and the
ü
key on the
base is illuminated.
Until you have recorded your own personal
announcement, the stored pre-recorded
announcement will be used.
If the memory is full the answering machine turns
itself off. The
ü
key flickers, if you try to switch
the answering machine back on. In this case, you
must delete some old messages (page 6).
Recording your own announcement
Press and
hold
the announcement key
þ
(signal
tone). Now record your announcement.
Press the play/stop key
û
to end the recording.
The recording stops automatically if you exceed
the maximum recording time of 60 seconds.
Checking an announcement or deleting it
Press the announcement key
þ
briefly
.
The announcement message is played.
The announcement message can be deleted
during playback by pressing the delete key
ÿ
.
The default announcement is then active again.
You cannot delete the default announcement.
Playing/deleting messages
New messages are shown on the base by the
ü
key flashing, and on the handset by displaying the
number of new messages, e.g.
1 MESSAGES
.
Playing back answering machine messages
Press the play/stop key
û
.
The playback begins immediately with the first
new message. After the last new message you will
hear the end tone and playback ends.
Once the new messages have been played you can
play back old messages by pressing the play/stop
key
û
again. You can adjust the playback volume
with the
+
/
–
keys.
While the messages are being played the message
counter, status, plus the date and time of the mes-
sage are shown on the handset display.

Display name of caller, if your
network provider has provided
