Reducing energy consumption
Your telephone has a power-saving adapter
plug and uses less power.
Reducing radiation (dependent on
base)
The radiation can only be reduced if your
base supports this function.
The telephone's transmission power is
auto-
matically
reduced depending on the dis-
tance to the base.
You can reduce the radiation from the
handset and base even more by using
Eco
Mode or Eco Mode+
. For further
information, please refer to your base user
guide.
Using the handset as an
alarm clock

After you activate the alarm clock, the menu
for setting the wake up time opens automat-
ically.
The
ë
icon and wake up time are shown on
the display.
A wake up call is signalled on the display
(
page 3), with the selected ringer volume
and melody (
page 33). The wake up call
sounds for 60 seconds. If no key is pressed,
the wake up call is repeated twice at five
minute intervals and then switched off.
During a call, the wake up call is only sig-
nalled by a short tone.

Prerequisite
: A wake up call is sounding.

Press the display key. The wake
up call is deactivated.

Press the display key or any key.
The wake up call is deactivated
and then repeated after 5 min-
utes. After the second repetition
the wake up call is deactivated
completely.
