3-1 Removing Chassis Cover
Before you remove or install the system cover
• Make sure the system is not turned on or connected to AC power.
Follow these instructions to remove the rear system cover:
1. Remove the seven screws on the back system cover.

Remove the five screws on the front top cover.
2. Slide the cover to the rear of the system and then remove the cover in the direction indicated by the
arrow.
3. Lift up and remove the back system cover.
4. Slide the cover to the rear of the system and then remove the front cover in the direction indicated
by the arrow.
5. To reinstall the chassis cover reverse steps 1-4.
