Dry Running Protection Mode

If there is no water in the unit, Dry Running Protection system will be activated to
protect the unit.

To cancel it, unplug the power cord first, then refill water and then plug in to start
again.

Caution

Repeated dry running may result in the discoloration of inner stainless steel container and increase of boiling noise.

Power Failure during usage

In case of power failure during operation, the unit will start to boil water again after
power resumed. In case of instantaneous power failure, the unit will restore the status
just as before power failure.

During the initial operation of the unit, steam may emerge at the water level scale. It
will disappear late after water boiled up.

The steam at the scale

The boiling noise may become bigger when the inner container wall is covered by
bleaching power or calcium substance. Please clean the inner container regularly.

Maintenance Instructions

CARE & CLEANING

1. Before cleaning, disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet. Let the

remaining water cool down and pour out any remaining water before cleaning.

2. Wipe the outside of the pot with a soft sponge and mild detergent.

3. Clean the water outlet - fill the tank with water and detergent then pump it out

by water pump. Rinse the tank and water outlet thoroughly.

4. Empty the container at least once a day (water left in the container for long

can cause stain, unpleasant odor or accumulation of mineral deposits).

Discoloration of Container / White Particles floating inside water.

Discolorations with milky/dark deposits, or white floating particles are generated

from water ingredients (minerals), not from the product itself. Therefore, clean the

inner container regularly is highly recommended.

Please follow the procedure below to remove the discoloration. The following

suggestion is just one of the methods to remove the discoloration.

1. Unplug the power cord.

2. Cut a few lemons into pieces and squeeze the juice into the container.

3. Fill the water up to the "FULL" mark. Plug in the power cord.

4. Boil the water and then retain heat for about one hour.

5. Discard the water after the water temperature is completely cooled off. Then

use a soft sponge to clean the container.

6. To remove the lemon smell, refill with water and boil agin. Discard the water,

then the smell will fade out after repeating the procedure a few times.

Caution

Do not use the following items/ingredients to clean:

- Kitchen detergent: may cause an odor in the container.

- Abrasive cleaners, or a nylon scrub brush may scratch the container or inner lid.

- Benzine or thinner: may damage the container and inner lid.

- Dishwasher or dish-dryer: which may deform the appliance.

The rubber seal of the inner lid is a consumable item. Checking it at least once

per year is recommended. Contact our service centre to purchase for a new

rubber seal.

Caution

- Never immerse the unit in water.
