2.3. Installation of MS equipment
* It’s strongly recommended to install the MS box hidden inside the ceiling, and far away from human because
of the noise from 4-way valve may cause uncomforted.
2.3.1 Notice for using MS and notes for related system
1.
The max capacity of the indoor unit which connected with
GIA
-MS02N1A is 2 horsepower; The max
capacity of the indoor unit which connected with
GIA
-MS04N1A is 5 horsepower.

If the indoor units do not have auto mode function, then each MS only can be connected 4 indoor units
at most for one time; if the indoor units have auto mode function, then each MS only can be connected 1
indoor unit at most for one time.
3.Indoor units in the same downstream of the MS cannot operate cooling and heating at the same time,
or operate heating and air supplying at the same time, otherwise it will be modes conflict.
4. Please install the MS at the places where do not have highly request for noise, such as the corridor or
washroom and so on.
5. The MS must be installed horizontally.
6. There shall be at least 1m distance between the MS and the branch pipes while doing installation.
7. There will be 30 seconds auto-checking function after the indoor and outdoor units have been started
up.
8.The indoor unit must use the remote controller for setting address, the addresses of the indoor units
connected with the MS in the same system cannot be the same (no matter whether connected with the
same MS).
9. The auto modes in the remote controller, wire controller and central controller are the same at the
cooling or air supplying mode function (under that not reach the cooling condition).
