AFTER WORK IS TERMINATED
At the end of the work, before performing any type of maintenance proceed as follows;
1. Close the regulation cock;
2. Turn off brush motor switch;
3. Lift up scrubber group lever;
4. Turn off vacuum motor switch;
5. Lift up squeegee lever;
6. Move the machine to the dirty water drain site;
7. Turn the On-Off key to “0” position to turn the machine off;
8. Detach the tube from its seat, unscrew the drain plug and drain the recovery tank.
Always wear gloves when doing this to protect yourself from contact with hazardous solutions. Make
sure there are no people or objects nearby.
10 DAILY MAINTENANCE
These operations have to be done with switched off machine, On-Off key has to be switched in the “0”
position. Always wear gloves when doing this to protect yourself from contact with hazardous solutions.
10.1 Cleaning the recovery tank
1. Empty the tank through the drain hose;
2. Take away the suction hose (Fig. 7-1) and the suction hose tank-squeegee (Fig. 7-2);
3. Open the black lock placed between the the recovery and cleaning tanks (Fig. 7-3);
4. Unlock the plastic cover placed on the top of the machine (Fig. 9A);
5. Turn the back part of the cover and take away the complete cover;
6. Unscrew the filter from the plastic cover, remove it and rinse with water. Do not lose the ball inside (Fig. 8);
7. Turn the recovery tank (Fig. 9B), rinse it and clean the drain plug;
8. Put the plug back on the drain hose and lift it up to the support;
9. Repeat by performing these procedures in reverse order in order to start again to work.
For the discharge of the liquids used for the floor cleaning, follow the indication written on the soap label and
applicate the currently laws and codes.
10.2 Cleaning squeegee
1. Lift down the squeegee, turn it to the outside of the machine and unscrew the handwheels;
2. Remove the vacuum hose from squeegee;
3. Clean the rubber blades and squeegee with a jet of clean water (Fig. 10)
4. Check the condition of the rubbers and reverse or replace them as necessary.
5. Clean the wiper tube and make sure it is not clogged.
10.3 Removing the brushes (Fig. 1A)
1. Lift the scrubber group up;
2. With the brush group in its raised position, press down for each brush;
3. Remove any pieces stuck to the bristles;
4. Rinse with water;
5. In order to have a uniform pattern of consumption of the bristles, avoiding repairs and / or replacements, it is
recommended to periodically reverse brushes position.
