Cabling Powerbox with valves
They are secured to prevent rotation and their M12 knurled screws ensure a reliable
hold, even in harsh environments.
Note:
Non-approved components can cause malfunctions!
Components must not be modified and connecting cables or distributors for star to-
pology cabling must not be installed at any time! Always connect Master, valves and,
where required, Powerboxes in series, i.e. one behind the other, to the components
available from the manufacturer. Connect the other plug of the connecting cable to
one of the two M12 plugs on the Powerbox and fasten the knurled screw. Connect
remaining valves.
Note:
Sub-standard assembly can cause malfunctions!
If the knurled screw is not tightened correctly, the connection can work loose over
time. Causes the system to malfunction! Make sure that all knurled screws of the
connecting cable are tightened!
Laying the cables:
Connect one plug of the connecting cable to one of the two M12 plugs (2) on the
Powerbox (1) and fasten with a knurled screw.
Connect the other plug on the PowerBox to the M12 of the connecting cable up to
the next valve. The cables are mounted on the circulation line itself or outside on the
insulation if need be. Cable ties temperature-resistant up to 90°C must be used. To
ensure sufficient cable is available for the finished assembly, factor-in 1 meter of
cable as reserve. The cables are pre-assembled to various lengths and can be con-
nected to one another with the screw fitting to obtain the desired length.
