Press and release the button on BigJack on which the IR channel is to be placed.
The red and green indicator lamp now lights with a steady light.

Press and hold down the button on the remote control unit that is to be taught to
BigJack. Release it when the red indicator lamp goes out. This may take as long as
10 seconds. If the red indicator lamp returns to a red light, press again one or
several times until both red and green indicator lamps go out.
If the indicator lamp flashes red and a sound signal is heard
, the teaching
process has failed. Repeat the process from step 4.

Conclude the process by pressing button

If the teaching process has succeeded for the first button, continue with the next
button as described above in points 3-6 until all IR channels are programmed.
Hint!
BigJack can learn IR channels from most remote control units on the market,
but there are a few exceptions. It may affect certain functions or it may affect all of
the functions on a remote control unit. It is possible in these cases to use another
teaching mode. Replace step 3 above by the following procedure: press in
P
and
1
at
the same time and hold them depressed for about 2 seconds until the green indicator
lamp flashes and then goes out. The unit is now in a different learning mode.
