Read all of these instructions before plugging in or turning on the Viral Air Scrub UVC Air Sanitizer

Remove the front cover from the machine by pulling the bottom part of the front panel toward you.

Remove the air filters.  Behind the filters you will find 4 UVC bulbs.  Check to make sure they are not broken and have not 

become disconnected during shipping.  Replace filters and make sure they fit snugly.  Replace front cover.

FAN SPEEDS

: You can manually adjust the 3 fan speeds by pressing the Fan Speed button until you obtain the desired fan 

speed.  Or set the sanitizer to auto and it will automatically adjust the fan speed as necessary when dirtier air is sensed. 

The lowest setting can be used as gentle white noise at night for a quiet, restful sleep.

TIMER

: Press the button once to set the timer to turn off the machine in 1 hour.  Press twice for 2 hours, 3 times for 3 

hours, etc.  Settings: 1-8 hours.

10. To manually turn on/off the UVC and ionizer functions individually, use the remote control (included)

AUTO

: Press the button once and the fan speed will authomatically adjust for dirtier air as needed

11. Always unplug the sanitizer from the outlet before removing cover
Be sure the sides, top and bottom of the Viral Air Scrub are not blocked or covered so that air can circulate in and out of the 

machine.

4. Plug the Viral Air Scrub into an electrical outlet.

: Turn on Viral Air Scrub using the touch screen display button or the remote control.

MODE

: Press the button:

a.

When the machine first comes on, it will automatically be in Auto mode with UVC light and 

ionizer functions 

OFF

.  No timers are set so the machine will run continuously until you turn it off manually or set a timer function.

b. Upon start up, the air quality sensor will alternate between poor, fair and good until it filters enough air through 

the machine to obtain a PM2.5 reading.  Initially, the PM2.5 reading will register as 4 flat lines (----) until the 

sanitizer obtains a PM2.5 reading.
