RTK Positioning
Post-processing is needed in traditional GPS surveying, such as static, rapid static and
dynamic surveying, to get centimeter-level accuracy. But Geosun eFix R2 series system is
able to obtain real-time centimeter-level positioning accuracy in the field. With the carrier
phase dynamic real-time differential (Real-Time Kinematic) technology, eFix R2 series
brings new working methods for the construction stakeout, topographic mapping, various
control surveying and etc., and greatly improves the fieldwork efficiency.
Geosun eFix R2 series RTK system is composed of at least two R2 series handhelds. One is
used as base station while another or the others is (are) as rover (s). The base receiver and
the rover receiver are exchangeable.
Using eFix R2 series for RTK survey, the differential data link can be by either UHF radio
or GPRS/3G (WCDMA) (through such as GS server). For the latter, users only need to
purchase an ordinary phone card (SIM card), then connect to GS Server through the GPRS
network link to achieve data communication, which method is very simple and inexpensive.
