3.1 Check out the different pieces of information
In the
STEP
mode, the upper line displays the number of strides done. The lower line displays either
the elapsed time (stopwatch) or the distance covered, or the calories burned. Use the
SET
button to
switch from one display to the next.
3.2 Stopwatch
The exercise stopwatch starts automatically when you take your first step. You do not need to
activate it using a button. It stops automatically as soon as it senses that you have stopped for
several seconds.
3.3 Walk / run automatic mode
The pedometer automatically recognises your activity mode: walking or running.
It can therefore use the appropriate stride length (walking or running stride length) to calculate the
distance covered. When you alternate between walking and running during the same session, this
function guarantees that the distance is correct.
If you do not want to use this function because you are using the pedometer only for walking or
running, you can set the same stride length for the two types of activity. The distance will then be
calculated using the same stride length.
To reset one of the modes to zero, hold the
RESET
button down for 3 secs. The other
modes will be return to zero at the same time.
3.4 Using the TO STEP (Total step) mode
The
TO STEP
mode allows you to see the cumulated number of strides and the cumulated distance
covered over several training sessions. This function allows you to keep track of the distance covered
during a week, a month or a year, for example. If you do not reset this function to zero, the data will
continue to be compiled. To confirm that you are in the
TO STEP
mode,
TOTAL
is displayed at the
bottom left of the screen. Press the
RESET
button to set both counters back to zero.
