4. Checks prior to operation:
4.1 Battery connection (only electrical models with electrical startup).
The battery is provided with a
disconnected terminal. Before
connecting the battery, check that the
engine switch is in the "OFF" or "0"
position.
If you have any questions on
identifying the engine switch, check
chapter 3 (components identification).
1 Loosen the support fastening bolts for the battery, extract it and place it on a
leveled and secure surface.
2 Connect the generator supply wires on the battery terminals. Negative lead on
the negative terminal and positive lead on the positive terminal.
3 Install the battery by inverting the removal steps on the generator riser and fix
it to fastening rods.
NOTE: Respect the cable polarities, connect the red cable (+) to the red
terminal (+) of the battery and the black cable (-) to the negative (-) of the battery.
A wrong connection could damage the electrical parts of the team and the battery.
NOTE: Extreme precautions so as to not make unwanted contact with the
battery terminals and cables, among them or against a metallic part of the
machine.
