Extract the foam filtering element from the interior of the filter box.

Clean the filter in a water and soap solution. Allow it to dry completely.

Dip the dry
filter in oil, the same type used in the generator engine.

Drain by pressing the air filter with your hand.

Install the filtering sponge in the filter box and close the filter cap with the tab.
NOTE:
If the filter has not been drained properly the engine may produce
abnormal smoke during its first use. The engine may even work irregularly if air
intake is not enough.
NOTE:
If compressed air is used, check that the pressure does not exceed
2BAR and do not place the air gun too near to avoid damage to the filter.
