Cover Firebox Opening Lintel (Optional for customers choosing thin brick 

option).

Use supplied thin set mortar to apply thin brick over exposed 

block lintel.

Start at centerline of opening and set brick to the left and right. Thin brick 

can also be installed with a mortar joint. To do so, use a masonry mortar 

and apply with a grout bag (mortar and grout bag not supplied in kit).
