Use the down arrow to highlight module Vset and
press the center button to select and Confirm.
14.
Verify the battery is discharging.
15.
Wait for the Generac PWRcell Battery to disable
itself.
NOTE:
It may take several hours for Generac PWRcell
to bring existing modules to the same voltage as the new
modules.

Once the Generac PWRcell Battery has disabled
itself, power down Generac PWRcell by disabling
REbus and turning OFF the Battery Disconnect
switch on the front of the Generac PWRcell Bat-
tery.

Add the new modules into the string by connecting
power and communications cables in the appropri-
ate sequence. See

Replace and secure front cover. See

19.
Power on the Generac PWRcell Battery.
NOTE:
If the unit stalls in an Initializing or Waiting state,
power cycle the controller by performing a Safety Shut-
down. See
20.
Enable all devices to resume normal operation.
21.
Return sysmode to original setting.
Recommended to maximize battery capacity:
1. Change the system mode to “Priority Backup”.
2. Allow the battery to charge to 100%.
3. Leave Generac PWRcell in this state for several days
to allow the battery cells to balance.
