Disconnect the speaker cable from the Audio Out to LRAD connector on the Amplifier
Module to expose the sockets on the connector on the Amplifier Module.
The pin layout for this connector is shown below.

Attach the Control Module to the Amplifier Module, power on the system, and press the
ALERT TONE button on the Control Module. Once the Control Module display indicates that
the Alert Tone is playing, turn the volume control to Maximum.

Using a true RMS voltmeter, measure the AC voltage on pins 1 and 2 and 6 and 7. Each pair
should measure approximately /- 1.
If any of the pin pairs measures low, the Amplifier Module will need to be returned for service
or replaced.
12.0 Instructions for Replacing a Faulty Driver
If a Driver has failed the Driver Resistance Test and is no longer producing output, it can be
replaced by the following procedure.
Tools required:
T15 Torx driver
4mm Hex driver
1/8” Hex driver
3/8” Socket or Crescent wrench
Phillips screwdriver
Flathead screwdriver
RTV (provided with replacement driver)
Anti-seize compound
Pin 1: Audio Out to Driver 1+
Pin 2: Audio Out to Driver 1-
Pin 6: Audio Out to Driver 2+
Pin 7: Audio Out to Driver 2-
