MOUNTING
LIGHT ON CAMERA
OR TRIPOD
MOUNTING LIGHT
ON ROTATING BALL
HEAD MOUNT
· Optional ball head mount is designed to provide
user with a 180° tilt or 360° rotating angle feature
that can be used on both cameras and other
devices featuring a cold shoe
· For cold shoe mounting, ensure that shoe found
on bottom of ball head mount is of adequate
height by twisting it counterclockwise as needed.
Verify that locking ring above shoe is tightened;
then slide entire shoe into cold shoe of camera to
lock in place securely
· When attaching light device to ball head mount,
insert 1/4 20 screw found atop ball head mount
into the 1/4 20 threading found on bottom of light
unit and tighten
· Verify that ball head mount locking knob is fully
loosened by twisting counterclockwise and rotate
ball head mount to desired angle. Twist locking
knob clockwise to lock light unit firmly in position
· Begin by positioning light directly over a
tripod bearing a 1/4 20 screw
· Insert 1/4 20 screw found on tripod head
into the 1/4 20 threading mount found on
bottom of unit, then tighten securely
Light can also be fastened
to included ball head mount,
which can then be installed on
cold shoe found on cameras
or similar devices; see ball
head mounting instructions
below
