Set the machine as illustrated.
Turn the stitch width dial and stitch length dial to suit the
fabric.
Shell Hem Stitch (F)
Suitable for decorative edges on sheer, fine and stretch
fabrics. The larger stitch should go just over the edge of
Crescent Stitch (K)
Suitable for a delicate edge finish along the edge of fabric.
Stitch length should be set from “0.5” to “1.0”.
Rampart Stitch (G)
Suitable for flat joining seams, sewing on elastic and
visible hems. This stitch can be used for firm, thicker
fabrics.
