To install the fax-modem, please follow the steps below:
1.
Turn your computer and all external devices connected to it off.
2.
Disconnect your computer from the power source.
3.
Open the computer case.
4.
Find a free PCI slot on the motherboard, remove the slot cover. Keep the screw.
5.
Carefully insert the fax-modem into the chosen slot. Press firmly but gently on the top
of the modem to insert it. Fasten the fax modem with the screw to the case.
6.
Close the computer case. Plug the telephone cable into the Line jack of the
fax-modem. Your telephone can be connected to the Phone jack. Switch your PC on.
Software installation
•
Under Windows 95/98/ME/XP/2000 the drivers for the modem will be installed
automatically. When prompted for drivers, please, insert CD with drivers into the
CD-ROM drive of your computer and let the Wizard look for the drivers on the CD.
