AT+CPBW Write into Phonebook
The
write command can be used to create, edit and delete a phonebook entry at a
of
the active storage selected with
.
The
test command returns the location range supported by the current storage, the maximum length
of the
values and the maximum length of the
field.
Note: The maximum
length may differ depending on USIM card, nevertheless
presents the maximum possible value. In case of exceeding available number length, "+CME ERROR: Memory
full" message is returned and the phonebook entry is not stored.
Syntax
Parameter Description
Location number within phonebook memory. The maximum range supported by each storage type is indicated
in the test command response. If
is not given, the first free entry will be used.
If
is given as the only parameter, the phonebook entry specified by
is deleted.
Phone number in format specified by
. Parameter must be present, although it may be an empty string.
Alphabetic characters are not permitted. The
may contain dialstring modifiers "*", "#", "+" or "p".
However please note that entries containing *# codes cannot be stored together with international access code.
For example, a dial string such as *31#+48123456789 can be dialed only by using the
command.
If other printable non-alphabetic characters are used the entry needs to be saved with
=209. Otherwise,
if
=209 is not used any non-digit characters other than "*", "#", "+" or "p" will be removed from the string
and only accepted modifiers from the GSM alphabet will be saved.
