Fitting the TH70 VL in Thrust phase
Same process as for putting under traction, except :
– The clamping assemblies are mounted in the other direction.
– The tie rods are not used.

Positioning the tensor in reverse phase

Reminder
When the tensioner is on the track in reverse phase, traffic is impossible. Please
make arrangements before you begin maintenance activities.
In
standard
operating
mode,
the
handles
are
positioned
in
such
a
way
that
the
swiveling
of
the
eccentric
alone
is
enough
to
disengage
it
from
the
stirrups
.
.
To
prevent
any
risk
that
the
eccentrics
fall
off
during
operation
in
reverse
phase,
it
is
mandatory
to
swap
these
handles.
This
exchange
shall
be
performed
during
the
assembly
of
the
tightening
unit
prior
to
operation
in
reverse
phase.
