Connecting the DisplayPort Extender over 2 LC Fibers
1. Connect a DisplayPort cable from the source to the DisplayPort connector on the
Sender module.
2. Connect a DisplayPort cable from the display to the DisplayPort connector on the
Receiver module.
3. Connect 2 strands of LC-terminated multimode fiber optic cable from the Sender
module to the Receiver module. See the Table 2.1 on the next page for distance
information based on the type of fiber optic cable.
4. Connect the included 5V DC power supplies to the power receptacles on both the
Sender and Receiver module. The LED on the top of both the Sender and Receiver
module will flash slowly 3 times, then flash quickly as long as power is applied.
See Table 2.2 on the next page for details on LED status.

Installation
IMPORTANT: Each fiber optic port is identified by the letter A or B.
Make sure that the fiber optic cables between the Sender and
Receiver module are connected to the proper port, as shown below.
