Make sure that the telephone line cord is plugged in correctly and is
not damaged.

Connect another telephone to the telephone socket or move your
telephone to another socket to track if the failure is coming from
your telephone or your socket.

There may be too many communication devices connected to a
single telephone line e.g. another telephone, modem or facsimile
machine. Contact your network provider for help in calculating the
limit for your home or business line .

Check the Volume level of the ringer.
No dial tone
