Temperature limiter (STB).
Regulator The GH21RA controller is equipped with an independently operating,
automatic safety device called a temperature limiter (STB).
12.1.
How it works
If the water temperature reaches 95C, the temperature limiter automatically stops the flow of
fuel and air to the combustion chamber (the fuel feeder and fan are turned off). When the
temperature drops to around
20
0
C
it is possible to manually reconnect
12.2.
Reconnecting STB function
To restart the unit, press the ‘reset’ button, on the left hand side of the controller.
For safety reasons, the boiler does not automatically return to operation after the STB has
been tripped.
To turn the controller on again, double click the button
- The first click of button
will cancel the alarm and turn off the controller
- the second click of button
will reactivate the controller
- pressing button
- puts the controller into automatic mode
