Tightening the gland

Close the ball valve.

Demount the actuator lever.
A gland that is tightened too securely
will cause the actuator lever to be
stiff.

Tighten gland to torque specified in
Table 4.

Mount the actuator lever.

Check function and ball valve for
tightness. → See "Checking the

tightness", page 17.
