Chain Screw Adjustment

Adjust the chain screw nut for approximately the position of the jaw relative to the handle as shown in the
diagram below. The jaw spring must be compressed to latch the chain screw nut.

Warning! The pipe must NOT contact the side of the chain screw as shown above.
Contact will cause premature breakage of the chain screw and could cause injury or
death. If the chain screw contacts the pipe, the chain MUST be lengthened by adding 2
pitches of chain.
