Instruction for use
1. Plug in the power supply to the rear of the turntable
2. Loop rubber belt between aluminium pulley and white sub-platter assembly
3. Place glass platter and mat onto white sub-platter assembly
4. Connect to WIFI (see below)
5. Buttons on front panel are from left to right: power on/off; 33 rpm ; 45 rpm. Please note
that both the 33rpm button and the 45 rpm button must be pushed in for 45 rpm to work.
6. Bluetooth will pair automatically to the nearest receiver
Setting Up WIFI on the Gearbox hardware for tagging function

Download app from either App Store or Google Play
•
Switch on the Gearbox Automatic
•
Go to WIFI settings on your phone and look for the Gearbox Automatic WIFI network
•
Connect to it using the password ‘automatic’
•
Once you have connected to this network with your phone, open the Gearbox Automatic app
•
Open Device Setup
•
From here follow the instructions, selecting your own WIFI network and entering the password
•
Your Gearbox Automatic should now be connected to WIFI and your phone should now be
connected back to the original network or have an Internet connection via 3G. The Gearbox
Automatic network should disappear from the list of WIFI networks on your phone
•
From the settings screen in the app, type in the Device ID which will be found with the
turntable and click ‘Save’
•
You will now receive automatic push notifications on your phone with the artwork of the track
playing, giving you the option to add the track to your Spotify playlist
