CAUTION:
The flashlight may become warm or hot after extended periods of use
at the highest setting. Select a lower setting when the flashlight is hot. This is
typical for high-powered flashlights and does not cause damage to the flashlight.
AA Battery Installation
1. Unfasten tail cap.
2. Insert 1 AA battery with the positive (+) end first. Always install batteries with
the positive (+) end facing the LED end and the negative (-) end facing the tail cap
end of the flashlight.
3. Refasten the tail cap.
On/Off
Zoom
1. Hold both ends of the flashlight; gently twist and pull each end away from the
other.
2. Pull the two ends away from each other to zoom in and push the two ends
together to zoom out.
To turn the flashlight on, press down firmly on the red power button located
on the tail of the flashlight until you hear a click.
To turn the flashlight off, press down firmly again until you hear a click.
Switching Modes
There are 3 different lighting modes. (High, Low, Strobe)
To switch through the different lighting modes, gently press down on the red
power button to alternate through the 3 modes.
The flashlight will switch to the next mode when turned off and on in quick
succession. It will reset back to the highest mode after being off for more than
10 seconds.

14500 Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery Installation (See Warning)
1. Insert one 14500 battery inside the flashlight with the positive (+) end first.
WARNING:
Lithium-ion batteries can present a fire, explosion, and burn hazard.
Use only 14500 battery cells with a protection circuit produced by Panasonic,
Sanyo, Sony, Samsung, or LG. Remove the battery when the flashlight is not in use.
The use of other cell manufacturers or the failure to follow the battery manufactur-
er's safety instructions may result in fire, explosion, personal injury, and damage to
property.
WARNING:
Battery can explode or leak and cause injury if installed backwards,
disassembled, charged, crushed, mixed with used or other battery types, or
exposed to fire or extreme temperatures. Replace all batteries at the same time.
